02.08.10 She’s On The Mark Again!

Since breaking her maiden on her three-year-old debut in May 2007, She’s Our Mark has been a model of consistency, winning seven races and finishing placed 17 times. Yesterday, the six-year-old daughter of Ishiguru captured her third Gr.3 victory with a last to first run in the Give Thanks Stakes over 12 furlongs at Cork.

Bought for just €12,000 at Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale by her trainer Pat Flynn, she runs in the colours of the B & M Syndicate, and may stay in training for another season. After the race, her trainer commented, “I was only saying this morning that she'll get a mile and six. We'll play it by ear with her but I'd say we'll keep her racing. I bought her as a yearling for €12,000 at Fairyhouse and it's looking some value now.”
