25.09.09 The Goresbridge Flat Yearling Sale comes to a close, having witnessed an adequate level of trade and a reasonable clearance rate.
‘It’s tough but we’re pretty satisfied. Of course it could be better and we’d obviously like it to be better, but the clearance rate is reasonable and this sale was always going to be tough, given the times we’re in,’ said Goresbridge chief Martin Donohoe.
‘However, we do feel that we have something to build on here and overall I think trade here this year has been better than last year, although the top prices were lower.’ |
