25.08.10 DAYLAMI GELDING IS TOP
The highest priced at Brightwells Ascot August Sale yesterday was the wildcard Lot 140A, who was knocked down to Brightwells’ Matt Mitchell on behalf of a client for trainer Liam Corcoran. Consigned by BGRacing Partnership, the seven-year-old Daylami gelding is out of the Gr.3 (then) Lancashire Oaks winner Noushkey (Polish Precedent), a half-sister to the Gr.1 Prix du Cadran winner San Sebastian (Niniski), from the family of the dual Gr.1 winner and sire Alkaased (Kingmambo). He has won both over hurdles and fences.
