21.02.09 Anngrove Stud announce new stallion for 2009
David and Alastair Pim’s Anngrove Stud has acquired the leading French jumping stallion Robin Des Pres, to
stand alongside Pilsudski and Rudimentary.
A half brother to Robin Des Champs, by the long time champion French jumps sire Cadoudal, Robin Des
Pres is the sire of Cheltenham Festival contenders Petit Robin (Champion Chase) and Panjo Bere (Arkle
Chase), along with today’s Racing Post Chase runner Possol. He is also responsible for graded race
performers Marodima and Patman Du Charmil. His fee has ben set at €2,500. |
